I've been told today I have tilted womb. Its tilted backwards & its causing loads of pain. Will this cause any problems in having kids? I'm 28.
PLEASE ask you doc: Who is going to do the surgery since your doc knows exactly what he or she is going to do and knows your body habitus, that is a standard ? U should be asking your doc and your doc should tell u that without u even having to ask it , when i propose or plan to do surg on my pts i always tell them how long recovery would normally be and what to expect during recovery. ...Read more
7wks past conception spotting in CM 3 days now. Scan yesterday inconclusive as baby to small to see h/b plus tilted womb. Any hope not m/c?
Depends on the dates: There are two main reasons for not seeing a heartbeat: wrong dates or abnormal pregnancy. We should be able to see a heartbeat at 4 weeks post conception. Depends: A "tilted" uterus is normal in one third of women and does not result in decreased chances of pregnancy. Fibroids can have implications for pregnancy depending on where they are in the uterus. Rarely: Your cervix may be hard to find for your doc doing your exam, but sperm are great swimmers and know what to do! the anatomical location of your uterus is also not a deterrent to becoming pregnant unless the internal structure is affected.
