Withdrawal Method During Ovulation
I had sex during ovulation used withdrawl method way before he even came took Plan B 2 days after chances of pregnancy?
Less than 10%: Taking Plan B within 72 hours of the accident will reduce risk of pregnancy to ~10%. There may be irregular bleeding for up to 2 months. The pattern of the bleeding doesn't mean anything about whether the medicine worked or not. So be sure to run a home urine pregnancy test with first urine of the morning 14 days after the accident. If it's negative, you're not pregnant from that accident. ...Read more
I stopped taking bc pills and have been using the withdrawl method even during ovulation. I'm a little late but negative ept. I took the early pregnancy test last week and I thought i'd have my period by this week but no and the test was negative. I've be
The: The withdrawal method is much less effective than using other forms of birthcontrol. A male could have pre-ejaculate on his penis which contains a small concentration of sperm and be unaware of it. Sometimes a woman can be pregnant but have a negative pregnancy test. If the HCG level simply isn't high enough to trigger a positive on the test. Using a routine pregnancy test you can check at the time of the missed period, it can be repeated a week or less later. ...Read more
I realized that we used the "withdrawal" method while I was ovulating. How great are our odds of conceiving?
Maybe: There's no totally correct answer, but based on natural fecudability you could say the chance of conception in any cycle is 20%. So not terribly high, but you either get pregnant or you don't - there si no 20% pregnant. Please avoid unprotected sex at any time if avoiding pregnancy is important to you. Good wishes. ...Read more

Unprotected sex with no withdrawal method April 13th - April 16th! My ovulation date is scheduled for April 17th, took plan b April 17th will it work?
Basically "no": I don't know what you mean when you say withdrawal bleeding. Can you ask this question again in your own words (not jargon?) this term has a specific medical meaning, but I sees it misused on the internet all the time. Withdrawal bleeding, implantation bleeding, and decimal bleeding are terms that are used online in non-medical groups - and 99% of the time incorrectly. ...Read more
Bf and I had sex yesterday with condoms and withdrawal during ovulation. He withdrew while holding the base and came in the condom. Should I take planb?

On ortho tri cyclen (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) lo during a withdrawal bleed, does your body have the chance to ovulate?
Not during bleeding: We know that triphasic pills provide good contraception but this is despite the fact that they don't necessarily prevent ovulation. Monophasic pills do a better job of suppressing ovulation and pills with less than 7 placebos in the package (24 active pills) do an even better job if suppression of ovulation is important to you. Hope this helps. ...Read more
What are the chances of pregnancy with intercourse with withdrawl method 3-4 days before & 3-4 days after ovulation?
Coitus interruptus: Withdrawal is not a reliable form of birth control and since the egg can survive a full day and sperm up to 5 days, pregnancy is possible roughly up to 6 days before ovulation and 1 day after ovulation. 2 days after ovulation the egg isn't viable. These are not hard and fast rules however. ...Read more

Clear jelly like CM 2 days after withdrawal bleed stopped and on 7th inactive bc pill day. Ovulation??
Not necessarily: This most likely means higher estrogen level, which can be from ovarian activity, but not necessarily ovulation. If you missed some pills towards the end of the hormone pills, or you took antibiotics, or were ill, it could have allowed more ovarian activity than usual. Just to be safe, might want to use extra method of bc for seven days. ...Read more
I had unprotected sex on ovulation day with withdrawal. Took plan b after 12 hours. Will plan b still work?
Try Ulipristal/Ella: Unfortunately the primary mechanism of Plan B is the prevention of ovulation, but if the cat's already out of the bag, meaning you've already ovulated, then there might not be very much that Plan B can do. You may however call your doctor and ask for a script for Ulipristal or EllaOne which is more effective than Plan B and safe for the prevention of pregnancy at up to 120 hours. Good luck! ...Read more
BCP: The idea behind birth control pills is that they stop you from ovulating. That being said if you take them perfectly as directed, there should be only a 1% chance that you will ovulate and it should not be right after you finish your cycle. ...Read more
I have started what I think is withdrawal bleeding from stopping my birth control (apri) pill how long after will I ovulate?
2 weeks: When stopping birth control pills with the last pill in the package, not anytime before, ovulation can be anticipated 2 weeks from stopping the pill. This calculation still comes with a significant margin of error. If pregnancy is desired, pregnancy tests a week apart from the day of the first anticipated period after stopping the pill will catch a pregnancy early. Else, condoms until next period ...Read more
If your birth control pill fails, can you accidentally ovulate 2 days after your withdrawal bleed ends?
I recently stopped the birth control pill, and I have had withdrawal bleeding for 4 days. When can I expect that to stop, and when should I ovulate?
Hard to predict: A lot of things go in to your body determining when things happen. When you stop treatment, when things go "back to normal" varies depending on things like how long you were on that therapy, your general health, involvement of other medical conditions you may have - the list goes on. You could expect the bleeding to stop in days or weeks. You could ovulate today or months from now. Time will tell. ...Read more
