Withdrawal Bleed Pregnant
Took ECP on 6th, got light bleeding on13aug. 2 HPT & 1 Lab Urine test on 14 sept, all negative. No sex after withdrawal bleed. Still be pregnant?
Unlikely: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginal spotting, or medications. A test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a negative result may be due to testing too early such as less than 2 weeks after conception. ...Read more

Can I have unprotected sex on placebo days of pack if I don't have withdrawal bleeding w/o getting pregnet? Been taking birth control for months
Yes: Birth control pills, when taken each day at about the same time, are still working to prevent pregnancy, regardless of whether the withdrawal bleeding is lighter than expected, heavier than expected, or intentionally prevented. However, if the withdrawal bleeding is unintentionally missing, one can check a home urine pregnancy test. Real life can surprise you sometimes. ...Read more
I had sex one week before I started my inactive bcp's. I had my normal withdrawal bleed. Could I be pregnant?
Maybe not, but...: Many things are possible in life, so the answer to "Could I be pregnant? " is usually "Maybe." However, if a woman is on birth control pills, beyond her initial pack, and doesn't miss pills, then she is protected against pregnancy EVERY DAY, regardless of whether she is on an active or an inactive pill (that's a very important concept). If worried, one can do a urine pregnancy test 7 days from now. ...Read more

Microgynon30: finished pack on Thurs, withdrawal bleed usually starts on Sun, but started day after last pill, Fri. 4th month taking it. Normal?
Normal: If it's only the fourth month taking it, your body might still be making itself comfortable with this new medication.
