Don't use Sharpie: You may be allergic to one of the volatile chemicals. Pediazole (erythromycin ethylsuccinate and sulfisoxazole) allergy is uncommon as well. Discuss this with the allergist. Another possibility is that you may have precipitated a form of migraine triggered by the chemical odor. Sinus scenario: Using simplest possible diagnosis to fit all parts of your problem would be a sinus infection, either bacterial or viral. If your nose is draining thick mucus and/or mucus is running down the back of your throat, that diagnosis becomes much more likely. Sounds like: your headaches are consistent with a spasm in the temporalis muscles. The back edge (posterior border) of the muscle is approximately where you describe. I a tense contracted state or spasm it will puff up and protrude hence the bump. Do you happen to clench or grind your teeth?
