Dr. RON BELL answered:

Irritation inflamation gum around wisdom tooth. Not impacted. Root canal on wisdom tooth vs extraction ! Two extracted -- 1 root canal - lower rt?

Depends

Root_canal
It depends on the amount of space available for treatment access. If other molars are missing and the wisdom tooth has moved forward, then saving and not extraction is the better option.

I am having a root canal and wisdom tooth removal. what will happen?

Myth vs reality

Head-teeth
Most dental procedures go smoothly and result in minimal discomfort when performed by a competant caring dentist. There are exceptions, but problems are rare.

Docs can you explain, is it worth it to have a root canal on a wisdom tooth?

Call dentist

Teeth_cleaning
It could be that the crown is just a little high and is being traumatized by the opposing teeth hitting it. Call your dentist to have the occlusion of the crown checked and possibly adjusted.

how long should I wait to get a root canal on molar after a part bony wisdom tooth extraction?

Right away

Cdv_photo_031
As long as you can open your mouth in comfort, I would not delay getting the root canal. Waiting only creates a greater potential for a dental emergency. A root canal is actually a much easier procedure than the extraction of a full boney impacted wisdom tooth. So don't delay and good luck! And don't forget to get a crown after the root canal is completed! To delay, risks your tooth breaking!

Had root canal 4 day ago. Hurt to chew on that side. Normal? Rt lower wisdom tooth--Endodontist. Had wicked roots! He saved crown over tooth. Wait?

It's always best to

Call_dentist
Call the dentist, or in this case the Endodontist, who actually treated you to find out what you should expect, how long to expect it for, and whether or not you should wait it out or come back to have the tooth re-evaluated. Having some discomfort 4 days after treatment is not uncommon but each day should be better than the previous one.

Root canal in november i got cleaning done and the dentist i went to he told me that i have cavaties in my bottom right 3 tooth... so i need to get filling done, week later he did the filling and he touch my wisdom tooth during that which got really badl

Get checked!

Head-teeth
I believe you meant to say that now your wisdom tooth hurts badly. Maybe you have a cavity in the wisdom tooth as well? Sometimes these teeth are difficult to restore and are extracted. Other times, if its in an area that accessible, it can be filled or root canal can be done if necessary. good luck

Advice on a puzzling tooth root canal infection problem?

Not sure...

Head-teeth
I am not sure I understand your question. If there is an infection problem associated with a root canal procedure you had done I would call the dentist who performed the procedure to have it managed. If you have an infection and have not pursued care for it then I would call your dentist. A personal visual exam would provide you the best information for how to progress from here....

What is the best recommendation for front tooth root canal?

Keep tooth

Root_canal
If your front tooth needs a root canal and you want to keep the tooth, have it done. If you lack confidence in your general dentist see a specialist, an endodontist. Generally access is made from the back side of the tooth. Most front teeth do not require crowns but graying over time may lead you to want a cosmetic restoration.

I am having problems with my front tooth/root canal, what can I do?

Go back

Dental
See your dentist and have it re evaluated. If done recently it may be hitting heavy on your tooth causing you the discomfort. If it's been awhile the tooth could be cracked. Any diagnosis needs an evaluation and X-ray.

Dr. Zahid Ahmed answered:

What should I do when i go to a dentist for a cracked tooth root and the want to do a root canal ?

Extent of crack

Open-uri20130427-32547-12nzun4
A cracked tooth will be evaluated to see if it it is limited to only the crown, or if it extends vertically into the root of the tooth. They can sometimes be very tricky to detect and treat. Be sure to ask the dentist about all the options, if the extent of the crack is clear, and how confident they are about the recommended treatment if they want to save the tooth.
