No: Tizanidine should not cause any changes in blood sugar level. The one caveat to this is if you have something like a spinal cord injury where you have large muscles in spasm, and tizanidine works very well cutting down these spasms, you could lower your metabolism thus increasing your blood sugar. Why do you ask?: Serum iron can reflect simply having taken a multivitamin with iron a few hours before the blood was drawn, or being seriously sick with hemochromatosis, or a problem with the specimen being handled roughly and iron getting out of the red cells, or a few other things.
