Will the hCG diet mess up fertiliry?

Will the hCG diet mess up fertiliry?

It could: Hcg is a hormone normally found in high levels during pregnancy. My hCG went up after misc. Dr ordered d&c and biopsy (he thinks molar or charciroma) he prescribed contr. After d&c, but read I should not take it?

Says who?: The information you have given is limited, but if i understand correctly, you are awaiting biopsy results for possible trophoblastic disease, you've been urged to use an oral contraceptive, and because of something you read on the internet, you are worried. Medicine and living: I would believe, based upon those lab results that you have a very early pregnancy. But, that being said, these low numbers mean a 'very early pregnancy' that would in no way be visible on an ultrasound. What is your OB telling you? ...Read more

Is vaginaUS a sure way to assess there is no RPOC after 5 months of D&C if Hcg was 0, period 29-34 day cycle. Or there's a chance of some tissue left ?

Is vaginaUS a sure way to assess there is no RPOC after 5 months of D&C if Hcg was 0, period 29-34 day cycle. Or there's a chance of some tissue left ?

Yes: Vaginal ultrasound and serum HCG levels are good ways to determine if you have retained products of conception after a D+C. Hysteroscopy is another tool used if RPOC are suspected. ...Read more

Following d&c surgery how long does it take a woman's hCG level to go down completely?

Following d&c surgery how long does it take a woman's hCG level to go down completely?

Less than 2 weeks: The HCG half life is about 1.5 days and urine pregnancy test should be negative in less than two weeks. If it is positive four weeks after the procedure, that indicates residual HCG producing tissue and would require additional treatment.
