Brain changes: You would not lose intelligence from being on these medications. However, untreated depression and adhd would make it harder to perform well in school or in work. It might, but try...: Hypnosis may well help but i'd say cognitive-behavioral therapy & systematic desensitization is the way to go if you seek to overcome ur social anxiety. Please clarify: Sorry, but I looked in my textbooks and "brain fog" isn't in there. So you'll have to go beyond colorful but uninformative phrases and describe what you actually mean by "brain fog." It would also be helpful to include in your post how long it's been since you COULD use your brain and WHY your doc is prescribing fluoxetine.
