It depends: Sounds like you might have a radial nerve injury after a humerus fracture which unfortunately can be relatively common. Is it a post op nerve palsy? or was no surgery done to fix the humerus. How long has it been? If its been >6 weeks, an EMG can be helpful to see if there is any re-inervation.
