You need to ask your doctor why you are not being prescribed progesterone - I certainly don't understand why Microval and not progesterone.
If your doctor is not a gynecologist or endocrinologist have your doctor refer you to one or both and then look for another doctor.
If your doctor could let me know why the Microval was prescribed I would appreciate it. ...Read more
Currently on Nexplanon; but am taking estridonol, does adding estrogen back into your system, aid in losing weight? Opposed to only progesterone?
No: Estrogen is not associated with weight loss. It is used to help control bleeding. Progesterone is what provides the contraception in all hormonal contraceptives and estrogen is added for cycle control. In studies the Nexplanon has not been associated with weight gain unlike DepoProvera which has been shown to have an average 10 pound weight gain per year.
