Will Pitioriasis Rosacea Go Away
Yes: I think you mean pityriasis rosea. This is a common rash in young adults, occurs mostly spring & fall. Usually starts with one large patch, the herald patch, followed by multiple smaller areas. Typically clears in about 6-8 weeks. It is rare for anyone else in the house to get it, even though it's thought to be viral. Treatment can be given if it's itchy, but treatment doesn't speed clearance. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Face is red and blotchy after a warm shower, what can I do to help the redness go away? Take an antihistamine? No i don't have rosacea
Flushing of face: Common problem and related to (1) rapid dilation of superficial blood vessels called capillaries that increase in diameter and blood flow in response to heat. If your current medication is not providing the desired relief, please work with your physician to find something that helps. Also, most find that psychotherapy is an essential component of anxiety treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
