If u sober up and eat real healthy after knowing u have high liver enzymes can everything go back to normal?
Would 2 nights of heavy drinking cause an enlarged spleen? If the liver is perfectly healthy? If so would it go back to normal not drinking alcohol?
No: and am not sure how you know your spleen is enlarged. If you had some kind of scan or ultrasound, you need to be asking the doctor who ordered that test. Many things can cause splenic enlargement, and only your physician can figure it out with full history, examination and appropriate tests. ...Read more
How long does it take for liver enzyme levels to go back to normal after taking 1 dose of azithromycin (4x250mg)?
Need Further Work-Up: It is very rare, for Azithromycin to cause liver problems, but it has been reported. Given its long 1/2 life (it stays in your system a long time), if you are one of these rare cases it could be a while. That said it is rare and an eval for other reasons for the abnl LFTs is needed, especially since the dose you took is usually for STDs and some of these also cause abn LFT's. Need a full work up. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

But in general a level within normal is "Normal" ...Read more
