Will Moisturizer Help Make My Mole Disappear
Medical check up?: Any mole that has scales or appears dry and irritated should be examined by a physician. If it is a brown or black lesion, look at its borders. If it is changing in size or color or gets elevated, these are signs of concern as a mole can turn into a melanoma in which case it has to be removed before it gets out of control. Get a medical check to be sure.
My 5mm mole on my chest feels dry and scaly, and kind of itchy. I have been touching it a lot a week ago. It is better after I applied moisturizer.
Mole: You need to send a pic of it
The head of my penis appears dry and has a few areas that looks like it had been peeling. I use moisturizer and have been abstaining. Any ideas?
Is it safe to use Shea tea tree shampoo then neutrogena acne pads after shower and then finishing with Shea moisturizer? I keep a shaved head.
SHEA COSMETICS: I DO NOT SEE ANY HARM IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THEY ARE SAFE ENOUGH, UNLESS YOU DEVELOP AN ALLERGY TO THEM. . . HOWEVER, I DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU ARE DOING THEM. BEST LUCK
Used retin A (tretinoin) twice on penis head...skin burned, reddish and sore patches. Applying Vaseline, moisturizer for 3 days. Can I apply Betnovate ointment?
Stop: I have no idea why you want to put Retin A (tretinoin) on your penis head since there is no wrinkle there. If anything, try topical hydrocortisone for a few days to calm the inflammation down (I presume however that Betnovate is a brand of cortisone containing betamethasone. If so, it is ok to use it once a day for 3-4 days but no more).
I had a tiny light brown mole in the web of my finger and now I don't really see it anymore. Can moles just disappear?
Yes, spontaneous: Involution is common. Even malignant melanomas can do this. If your mole is completely gone, you should not be overly concerned.
I have a small freckle or possibly mole on my thigh that seems to appear and then disappear. It has a red ring around it. What is it?
Have it checked.: Most likely it is a benign lesion given your history. The red ring around it could be from irritation or the presence of a vascular lesion/blood vessels underlying or adjacent to the freckle.
On my lower back I have a dark red kind of purplish mole with uneven edges that appears and disappears from time to time, could it be bad?
Sounds vascular: It sounds like it is some form of blood-vessel related growth, like an angioma or hemangioma, rather than a typical "mole". How large is it? Is it raised? How long have you had it? Without a photo, it's hard to tell by your description - see a dermatologist for a definitive diagnosis.See 1 more doctor answer
Is it possible to accidentally remove a mole? I shaved too close & a scab was left &the mole disappeared. If it were to be malignant, how'd I know?
Possible: It is possible. No way to know about benign or malignant if it is gone.
Can a mole disappear and leave slightly pink spot? My dermatologis said it was ok but I asked for a biopsy and it went back fine. Should I still worry?
If the biopsy: Was normal - I would try to stop worrying about this. Take care.
Hello, About a week ago I popped one of my moles (3 mm).It bled only a little, but the mole disappeared. Is it posibble that I scratched off a melanoma?
I remove a mole at home by myself The blackspot disappear n wound healbut now turn into a grey area. Is it pigments? How can I remove the grey skin?
Not a do it yourself: Issue. The removed mole should have been submitted for examination by a pathologist. Removing moles is not a do it yourself project. Please see a doctor for proper care.
Is it possible for a mole/freckle to almost disappear from the side of my foot? I can still see a small speck, but not near the size it was.
Yes: Moles can change over time, including getting smaller and becoming much less visible.
I had a mole on my temple until my 16th. It disappeared and grey hairs started growing from there. Mole is gone and grey hairs are still there, normal?
Probably: The pigment that causes malls to be dark is called melon. It sounds like the mole lost the ability to produce melanin and that's why it "disappeared". This is also likely why the hairs are gray because there's no normal color. If you have not already seen a dermatologist, I would go see one just to make sure that it's not something that needs to be addressed.See 1 more doctor answer
After scratches, the surrounding of a mole has turn grey. I have seen a dermatologist and he gave me elomet cream. Will the grey ring disappear?
Halo nevus: These are very common, and often mean that the immune system decided to tear up that particular nevus. Look at a few pictures and see whether this is what you have. You're a good observer of your body.
Does Melanoma or any skin cancers appear on the skin for a few days, then disappear for a long time. Then reappear again? I have a mole doing this.
I've had a mole on the temple of my face until my 18th. Then it disappeared and grey hair has been there until now (23 years old now). Is this bad?
Halo nevus: This is a familiar variant. Your immune system decides to go after a nevus and the pigment cells in the area. It's harmless.
