Psudeogout: Pseudogout causes inflammation in joints similar to gout. Gout is caused by deposition of uric acid crystals in joints, whereas, pseudogout is caused by calcium pyorphosphate crystals. During acute flares, both can respond to anti-inflammatories such as nsaids as well as colchicine. Would recommend being evaluated by your doctor to arrive at a diagnosis.
