Relax: I am assuming that since a sleep study was ordered there is some history of sleeping problems so last night's poor sleep shouldn't afffect the outcome of the results. You may sleep better or worse during the study but regardless the experts will be able to tell what is what and the information will be useful in getting you to consistantly healthier sleep. ...Read more

Major sleep problem: This does not sound like anemia though it is suspicious for medical disease. Sleeping 12 hours at a time, and being unable to fall asleep are both abnormal.
