Will Hydrocele Affect Sex
Soon: One can start having intercourse soon after a hydrocele if there is no swelling or pain. This can typically be done in around 10 days. Factors to take into account include the size of the hydrocele and comorbid conditions such as diabetes because these can prolong the wound healing phase after surgery.See 2 more doctor answers
I have a hydrocele in my left ball. When I am getting too much sex I have to face a massive pain. My age is 26, ?
Need 2 see urologist: Your testicle may be twisting within the hydrocele sac. Hydroceles are usually painless. Best to get it checked out & probably have a hydrocelectomy. This is a relatively minor operation. Good luck.
Until...: There has been no magic timing to restrict sex after hydrocelectomy, but let common sense rule what we can do and need. So, as long as you can cope with postoperative pain and swelling, you can have sex whenever you like, but common sense guides most reasonable men not to have sex for at least 1-2 weeks after surgery there.See 2 more doctor answers
Recovery time after hydrocele surgery?? can I go back to worj after 1 week?? any prob with sex drive??
Recovery: If your recovery is uncomplicated, you feel well off pain medications and no heavy lifting at your work...it's possible you could return at one week.
I plan on having sex tomorrow with my partner and it has been exactly one week since my hydrocele surgery. Is this ok? Will I be fine?
Defer to Doctor: Not one of us here on health tap would feel comfortable answering this question. You have a surgeon who did surgery on you and provided you with specific instructions on your healing and post operative care. These instructions are vital and none of us here have access to this information. If your instructions did not include sexual activity then I would recommend you contact the surgeon about it.
I had an hydrocele repair on 20th aug. How long can I have sex and how long can I mastubate? .Can having sex or mastubate let the fluid accumulate back.
Anytime you want: You should be sufficiently healed to do either or both. These activities will not cause a recurrence of the hydrocele.
Ask your surgeon: This is something your surgeon should have told you and please call his/her office to determine postoperative activities that are permissible. Most surgeons would say at least 2 - 4 weeks depending upon the size of the hydroceles, how long they have been present etc...
2 weeks: You should discuss with your doctor, because this depends on the procedure that was done. A more usual minimum time to wait before doing anything that would pull on the incision would be 2-4 weeks.
Urologist said I have small hydrocele. Miniml pain. No surgery needed. Do hydroceles have an effect on sex life? Not sure if I should be embarassed.
Not usually: A hydrocele does not usually affect sexual drive. In general, hydroceles should not affect erectile function. Hydroceles are fluid collections surrounding testicle due either to overproduction or poor absorption of fluid. The hydrocele does not affect function of the testicle and does not change hormonal function. However, very large hydroceles can undoubtedly make sexual intercourse uncomfortable.See 1 more doctor answer

I have hydrocele on my left testicle I wonder if I will do a sergery. It will affect on my sex drive? Or my testicles development or testosterone
Not a problem, but: Draining/removing the hydrocele is not a problem. If the wound gets infected, which is a complication that can happen during any kind of surgery, you may run into problems. Double check that the benefits from your proposed surgery outweigh risks involved.See 1 more doctor answer
Can single testes with hydrocele lead to infertility? I had sex with my wife several times, now she missed her periods. Urologist said chances are rare?
Possibly: Hydroceles can grow over time if left untreated. They may grow very slowly or more rapidly depending on the activity level of the patient.See 2 more doctor answers
May Lead to a hernia: A communicating hydrocele allows free flow of abdominal fluid back and forth to the scrotal sac. It could also (depending on the size of the communication) allow intestines to travel throught the hydrocele channel to the scrotum. That would become a hernia. If the contents get stuck in the scrotum, that would be called an incarcerated hernia and is a medical emergency.See 1 more doctor answer
