Is it safe to stop liptor statin for a week whilst on erythromycin will my cholestrol be affected as have heart disease.
The combo may: Increase the statin levels increasing the risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis. One of the two should happen, monitor the patient with ck levels and for muscle pain vs stoping while antibiotic given. Your doctor should make that decision. Stoping the statin for a week wont affect the cholestherol levels that bad. A rebound effect not common if statin stop for a week. Talk to your physician. ...Read more

Aleve (naproxen) won't help: Nothing can slow/delay a menstrual period(mother nature rules!). But do not take it more than twice a day and limit it to no more than 2-3 days. It can cause stomach ulcers! ...Read more

Can you explain if it's safe to take viagra (sildenafil) with blood pressure pills and is it safe to take viagra (sildenafil) after a few beers?
Viagra (sildenafil): Most 39 year olds would not need viagra (sildenafil). Taking a drug you don't need with or without additional drugs(alcohol is a drug) is not a good idea. If a person needs viagra (sildenafil) and has appropriate condition and medications which don't raise risk, it could be safe. Likewise the beers could be ok. A blanket 'its safe' isn't prudent without knowing more about the person concerned in the question. ...Read more
