Danger !!: Purging is NEVER the answer for weight loss. To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Try for 8 hours of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Not likely: Diet pops dont have caloric values in themselves and thus don't directly contribute to weight gain. Neither will they help you lose wt. As a matter of fact, they likely increase wt gain because: your taste buds enjoy the sweet tastes provided by the diet pops and when no diet pops available, u likely snack more on other sweets, hence the weight gain.
