As previously mentioned it takes several days to start working and lasts about 6 months. Dtr with migraine since jan.  Tried several meds. Started verapimil last night and botox today.  Would like to hear more about supplements & prevent.

Consider this: Many remedies for migraine exist, due to fact that folks are variable in response. Botox may work fine, (60-70% chance of success), but am not impressed by any calcium channel blockers in migraine. There are excellent otc choices with high success rates, and include riboflavin, co-q10, butterbur, feverfew, and magnesium. Favorite is petadolex. All of these require correct dosing, work with doc. ...Read more
