Don't face it alone: Find a provider specializing in treating patients with history of abuse. Follow up with your discharge plan/appointments from the hospital. Meanwhile, focus on the present, if flashback hits, try to focus on the 'now" environment rather than the past. Do relaxation, sleep hygiene, mindfulness.
