Seek a bariatric doc: Bariatric physicians are the ones who work regularly with patients on such medications. Personally I do not recommend using them at all, because of the risk of agitation, cardiovascular side effects, etc. If you've been prescribed these medications by a physician, you should ask him or her about this. Be careful.: If you're taking the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) regularly & it's a safe &effective dose, you might tolerate the adipex, but not necessarily so. Both are stimulants. Significant negative effects would not be surprising. Further, i question the usefulness of phentiramine at all. It doesn't have sustained wgt-loss effect. & Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) itself helps limit wgt gain. Consider a more all-day Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) regimen + diet/fitness. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
