Stay away from Afrin (oxymetazoline): Sorry about using brand names but you really want to stay from afrin, neosynephrine (phenylephrine) & similar products. They're fantastic decongestants but quickly lead to rhinitis medicamentosa which is our fancy way of saying you become addicted to them.
