I am on a nebulizer and oral meds. I have been short of breath and peakflow 350 for a week. Now my cheeks are itchy. Could this be due to asthma?

Improves cough: All that would do is like a humidifier, it may improve your cough and hydrate the secretions. Better to use Normal Saline to avoid swelling of the cells due to the water being hypotonic, and yes, we don't recommend to use water alone especially if no limit. Do tell your doctor.: I'm wondering if he is mouth-breathing, which might mean upper airway obstruction (as from large adenoids). Obstructive sleep apnea, if present, is important to diagnose and treat. An ENT specialist might help. As for his asthma treatment, what's in that nebulizer?
