Concerned not IBS: Your symptoms are not typical of irritable bowel syndrome. Pain, especially 7-8 out of 10 and vomiting are unusual. Also, the racing heart/palpitations may be a sign that you are dehydrated. To be symptomatic at 29 you are probably very dehydrated. Palpitations: You need to get an ekg, holter, event monitor and loop recorder in sequence to diagnose cause of your palpitations. If everything is normal, then it simply anxiety disorder. Consult your physician.
