Good & bad ways: I'M ALL FOR IT IF by "cleanse" you mean adopting a healthy lifestyle with routine exercise, cutting out tobacco, reducing alcohol & sugary drinks, minimizing highly processed foods & fats, & adding in lean proteins, whole fruits, vegetables, & nuts. If i had a parasitic worm hidden in folds of my colon could I do a colon cleanse to remove it or at least get it out of there so medicine can get it?
Not likely scenario: Parasitic worms uncommon in general in western countries without history of travel to underdeveloped countries, ingestion of raw/uncooked seafood (sushi) or undercooked pork etc. If your ova & parasite tests were negative on three samples & don't have risk factors listed unlikely you have a parasite. You list Mebendazole as a medication taking so have been treated. Bowel cleanse not likely benefit. ...Read more
