It started with severe back pain and nummness and pain down right leg, chiroprictor made back better, was pinched nerve. Still having pain right thigh?
Leg pain: Your chiropracter helped the muscle pain, but it sounds like something else is going on. I would suggest you see your family doctor, an neurologist or an orthopedist and evaluate further. Nerves can be pinched by many things, including disc fragments, bone spurs and even tumors. ...Read more

Within brain and spinal cord these nerves connect to other nerves via synapses on both axons and dendrites. A nerve can carry information regarding sensations, and ...Read more
I do not think so: I do not think the chiropractor could fix the pinched nerve, because the pinched nerve is a sequence to a disc got out place and cause the nerve pinching , there no documented case in the books show manipulations help the disc went back in place after manipulations. But the chiropractor could help with reduce the symptom of the pinched nerve. Good luck. Thank you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Depends on what: Is causing the pinch. If it is just a mild disc bulge, then chiropractic manipulation has been shown to help. If it is a herniated disc, it depends on the degree and placement of the herniation. Many people have success with chiropractors, but make sure to have imaging and don't be shy about second opinion if it does not get better fast or if any symptoms change for the worse. ...Read more
A chiropractor told me that I have a calcified thyroid b/c of a pinched nerve. Could that happen and should I have my thyroid treated, what does it do?
Of COURSE he did!: He'd have said that no matter what you had: Ulcers, ovarian cysts, insomnia, anything. That's the quackery of chiropractic: Every problem is a pinched nerve: Not just a calcified thyroid, not just back pain, but everything: Depression, impotence, infertility, baldness, acne, constipation, deafness, flat feet, you name it. Thyroid calcifications should be worked up - by a REAL doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

What are the synptoms of a pinched nerve in the right upper back..Also whete to go chiropractor or doctor.?
Pain, numb, weak: A pinched nerve in the neck (cervical radiculopathy) causes pain, paresthesias, numbness, and/or weakness. The radiation pattern is dependent upon which nerve root is being entrapped. For instance, a c5 radiculopathy can present as neck pain with radiation into the medial scapular border and deltoid. It would rarely go below the elbow. Being a doctor I am a bit biased but would rec a doc. ...Read more
Can a pinched nerve cause body to feel tingly and weak. Had dislocated knees and shoulder. Not recent though. Can my chiropractor help solve this?
They treat nothing: That's the all-purpose delusion of chiropractic: Every problem is a "pinched nerve": Not just back pain, but everything: Depression, impotence, constipation, deafness, acne, flat feet, asthma, allergies, you name it. As a neurologist, I'm here to tell you: Your chiropractor has no more real knowledge about the human body, health or disease than you do. Chiropractic is quackery with a capital Q. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have a pinched nerve between my c4 and c5 vertebrae. Chiropractor also said I have reverse curvature and pre arthritic stage. I'm 28. What is this?
Un reliable: Chiropractors have some amazing notions about the spine and illness. If you are having symptoms, you should see an orthopedic specialist who can give you a definitive answer. I have some neck pain and tingling in right arm, could it be a pinched nerve? Does a chiropractor take care of this or should I see my doctor?
Absolutely: A pinched nerve can cause neck pain headaches, and pain or numbness running into the arm. There are other potential causes, however, and so it would be food to just get a regular check up to make sure it is nothing else. Physical therapy, chiropractic, and interventional pain management are the non operative treatments for it if it doesn't get better. Thank you. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
