Why Would Someone Foam At Mouth When Dying

Other risk factors = obesity, smoking/drinking etoh/caffeine, eating foods like tomatoes, onions, citrus, chocolate, mint, spicy foods, carbonated beverages or large meals, and finally, eating within 3 hours of going to bed. Symptoms include heartburn (obviously), throat clearing, cough, hoarseness, and sore throat. ...Read more

Does not sound norma: That is certainly a possiblity and there are other "parasomnias" that can cause this behavior. Should I worry about contracting rabies, after a cat got playful and scratched me? It wasn't foaming at the mouth or acting strange. Looked healthy.
Highly unlikely!: Once you've seen a rabid animal, you will know that there is nothing "playful" about them. It is true that in cats rabies can develop slowly, but even early on cats get more aggressive, or shy or restless & disinterested in play.
