Why We Use Folinal Tablet For Pregnancy
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
No, Nobody knows: Animal or human reproduction studies have not been conducted with oral nystatin. It is also not known whether oral nystatin can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction capacity. Oral Nystatin should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed and the risk is justified by the expected benefit. Best wishes! ...Read more

Yes - but why now?: Although this cream has not been studied in humans (not even in animals) during pregnancy, systemic absorption should be minimal and I do not anticipate any effect on your fetus (good, bad, or other). On the other hand, why take it now? Wait until postpartum to treat pregnancy mask (chloasma), as it is likely to spontaneously resolve to a great extent and therapy may be more effective. ...Read more

How important is it to take prenatals while pregnant? I used to live in europe for 18 yrs and dr would only prescribe iron supplements while pregnant
Folic Acid important: The most critical piece of a prenatal vitamin is the folic acid, as this reduces the risk of birth defects in the baby. Is diclofenac diethylamine ointment safe for me in third trimester? I use it for pain as per doctor's prescription.
No.: Any NSAID use could constrict the ductus arteriosus causing pulmonary hypertension to the fetus, or decrease the renal perfusion and lead to oligohydramnios. Even transdermal application (especially with the vasodilatation of late pregnancy) can result in significant concentrations in the maternal/fetal blood. Use icy-hot patch with simultaneous tylenol (acetaminophen) 1000 mg + Reglan 10 mg instead (+/- codeine). ...Read more

If it doesn't get into your blood it cannot effect the fetus. Only specialized prescription meds, placed on patches with penetration capabilities would get through the skin. You generally never need to worry about over the counter creams/lotions/liquids you apply to your ski ...Read more
