Probable flu: Symptoms you describe appear to be viral. Cannot totally rule out a bacterial cause. Common cold usually does not cause extensive aches/pains. You might find that your temperature goes higher at night. The best thing to do is stay away from others to keep them well, gargle with regular Listerine, use Lozenge with benzocaine, take vitamin C and OTC cough medicine. Not improved in 2 days see MD. ...Read more

Viral URI: You may have influenza or a flu-like illness, but this requires you to go and be tested to be specifically diagnosed. It is worth it, because if you have influenza treatment is available. If not, stay rested, well hydrated, get symptomatic relief from otc products and get well in time for the holidays. Good luck. ...Read more

Influenza test: Better to be safe and have a rapid influenza test since this sounds very much like a viral infection. No fever leads me to think less likely influenza but better to rule it out. ...Read more

Bronchitis: You have bronchitis. Need to know if there is tightness in the chest or wheezing (asthmatic bronchitis). You do not require antibiotics unless purulent sputum (green or brown coloration). If dm doesnt suppress cough you may profit from a codiene containing expectorant. For bronchial tightness you need an inhaler or theophyllin (200 mg three times a day) or some steroids - like Prednisone few days. ...Read more

Viral cold, probably: The symptoms you describe are most probably a viral respiratory infection, even the real flu (influenza). See a physician, to make sure it is not anything more serious. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a "silent killer", usually causing very little symptoms before killing the patient; there may be fatigue and headache, but none of the symptoms you describe. ...Read more
