No, it cannot be ---: normal. Could be reasonable if you played after a long time, and not having done any warm up exercises. Suggest: do regular stretching exercises for your shoulder muscles, about 3 times a day & take some Advil or aleve (naproxen). You may want to: Get it looked at first. Some mistake a carpal boss or a small boney prominence for a ganglion. Other times a small cystic fluid filled structure is not a ganglion but a foreign body, an inclison cyst, a fibroma and evena giant cell tumor.
