Why Is Zoloft So Bad For The Kidneys
The kidneys are paired organs that lie on either side of the vertebral column. Part of their critical functions include the excretion of urine and removal of nitrogenous wastes products from the blood. They regulate acid-base, electrolyte, fluid balance and blood pressure. Through hormonal signals, the kidneys control the ...Read more
Few side effects: Zoloft (sertraline) is an antidpressant SSRI that rarely can lead to inflammation of the liver or other allergic reactions. Main side effect occurs with sudden withdrawal (reduce dosage gradually) or the so-called "serotonin syndrome" if taken with other drugs that increase the likelihood of this side effect.
I've not heard of it: It is difficult to kill yourself with most of the newer antidepressants. Many who make suicide attempts take a combination of meds and some organ damage might occur. If you or someone is considering overdosing, please seek help. Suicidal gestures or intentions are not the answer. They are many resources, call local help lines.

OK but Caution: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) together with sertraline may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, & difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking & judgment. You should avoid/limit use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. Max Benadryl (diphenhydramine) dose is 300mg/d.
Zoloft (sertraline) sweats: The whole class of ssri medications (including prozac, zoloft, paxil, (paroxetine) etc.) can cause night sweats, particularly as you are stopping or reducing the medication. Paxil (paroxetine) is the worst offender in this group. Some patients have this symptom even while taking the medication. Usually it will go away after a few weeks.See 1 more doctor answer
How long does SSRI discontinuation symptoms last? Stopped cold turkey (bad I know) fromm Zoloft (sertraline) 200mg once a day??
Abrupt stopping meds: It is never wise to stop a medication abruptly. Side effects and discontinuation symptoms (drug company buzz for withdrawal symptoms) are always present. Should be done under your physician's supervision and should be tapered off and not abrupt

Want to take 50mg zoloft (sertraline) again but I love strawberry margaritas. It's a low does would drinking on it really be that bad? Would I black out?
Bad reaction with Zoloft (sertraline) weaned down to 12.5 nine days ago side effects were present 4 days after should I half it again or wait another week?
Zoloft (sertraline): It is really important that you wean off medications under the supervision of the doctor who prescribed it. I have not dropped to a dose lower than 12.5 mg w patients - but it depends on your providers' directives.See 1 more doctor answer
I stopped taking my Zoloft (sertraline) 3 weeks ago, the withdrawal symptoms were bad so I went back on tonight and I feel real sick. Not sure if It's a concern?
What dose?: Sick in what way? If you were on a relatively high dose you may want to gradually get back up to that dose after being off completely for that longSee 1 more doctor answer
I have read such scary horrible things about people starting Zoloft (sertraline) and that the first few weeks are bad effects. Dizziness? So worried only on day 2
I've always blushed badly in social situations and for 5yrs been on Zoloft (sertraline) which seemed to help at first but now seems worse than ever. What can I do?
Behavioral treatment: Medication can only help so much. There are various treatments that can help with social anxiety, such as cbt, energy psychology, emdr, and other exposure and desensitization approaches. Treatment can also involve targeting the beliefs that interfer with social functioning, such as feeling that you're not good enough or that you are in someway flawed.
Dr. Pappas! So are you saying Zoloft (sertraline) causes dizziness in less than 10% of people or more than 10% of people? And is it really bad dizziness? Spinning?
Zoloft (sertraline): Pre-marketing studies of zoloft (sertraline) (another source) showed 12% of people had "dizziness" (not characterized further as "vertigo" or "spinning, " etc). The source I first quoted said more than 10%, which is close to this 12% figure. These figures would also leave ~90% of people who did not experience dizziness. If ~12% of patients in pre-marketing studies had dizziness, 88% did not. Big majority.
Were will I get Zoloft (sertraline) tablet in india bangalore? Please suggest me the address I am in very bad need of gaining weight. And I will be very thankful u
