I had back surgery 3 years ago and left with numbness in right leg and hip area. Could this treatment help me? L3-5 fusion with hardware
It may: This really depends on your imaging (mri/ct) scan. If your neurological problems are arising from a spondylisthesis or foramenal stenosis, then performing an interbody fusion and increasing the height of the disc space (increasing foramenal space) and reducing the slip may improve your compression and therefore your symptoms. But this depends on your full history, physical and images. Good luck. ...Read more

Surgery-labral repair/FAI 1.5yr ago. Ongoing groin/hip pain/decreased ROM. New CT-ossification iliopsoas tendon. Is there treatment/surgery needed?
See ORS: See your surgeon who repaired your labrum. Femoralacetabular impingement of the hip is either 'pincer' or'cam'. Both of these types can progress despite your labral repair. The C T findings are most likely not the cause of your continued pain. A second opinion from an ORS experienced in arthroscopic hip surgery is a good idea. Best of Luck! ...Read more
