Normal: Scar tissue can absolutely be uncomfortable. It may help to massage your scar with lotion daily. Are you concerned there is another abscess forming? If the area is red, increasingly large, hot or tender it is best to see a doctor for a proper evaluation. ...Read more

Healing: It is not unusual to have tenderness or other variable sensations about a c-section scar in the first 6 months. It is not unusual to have lumps immediately around the scar. Varies with technique of closure. However, you could have a hernia. Since it does not hurt unless touched, I recommend using compression underwear like spanks and avoid too much manipulation. Breast lump: That is a fairly significant sized lesion. I am assuming a needle biopsy was performed to establish the diagnosis. While it most likely is benign - and never degenerate my recommendation would be to have it removed. Depending on where it is - an excision around the areola may hide the scar.
