When I shave the area under my chin and neck have always gotten red. How can I make it stop and go away?

Shaving irritation: Depends. If you are using a regular shaving blade, perhaps try a sensitive skin one. No: Few days of Prednisone would not affect the healing, but help with the itching and help with healing. The rash you describe is not yeast, therefore it would not be dangerous at all. If it is yeast, your rash would still be there, it may spread but would not be dangerous since it it just a few days. ...Read more

What causes temporal pain on one side head. It doesn't hurt bad unless I touch it. Should I be concerned? I am 60. No bumps or redness on area.

PainInTheTemple, Oy!: At your age it could be an inflamed temporal artery, which is a marker for inflammation to deeper arteries, some of which could affect your eye and eyesight. So best to go see your doctor right away. A blood test could give a fairly good answer. I have a rough area of skin under my Chin and it has a huge painful pimpleish lump on it... I poked it with a needle today and it bled, it's not gone?

I would advise to see a doctor to clear the lump as needed.
Please be aware that using needles or other instruments to the skin might cause scarring. ...Read more
