Why Is My Scalp Tingling
Scalp is the part of the skin on the skull, deeply attached to the skull and has the hair shafts from it. Rest of the skin in the head like facial skin (beard) has only 2 layers -epidermis and dermis. Scalp has 5 different layers unlike facial skin/rest of skin all over body. Scalp-s-epidermis, c-conn. Scalp tingling when eating? I get it everytime I start eating. I had a roast beef sandwich once, pizza another, eggs w/onions, cheeseburgers, etc.
Scalp tingling: It's unrealistic to expect that one's every little quirk or idiosyncrasy has a precise explanation. For someone who's only 23 & already with HBP, your diet is pretty toxic: Roast beef, pizza, eggs, cheeseburgers... Maybe it's your body's way of telling you it doesn't like what you're feeding it. Does your scalp tingle when you eat fresh fruits & vegetables? Salads WITHOUT full-fat ranch dressing? ...Read more

Burning pain back of my neck. Forehead/scalp tingling, neck cracks when I turn my head any direction. Pain down my forearms to my wrists. Shingles?
Neck cracking/popping, forehead/scalp tingling, the result of pinched nerves in neck? MRI's and CT's of head were normal. Thanks.
Neck cracks/pops, forehead/scalp tingling, is the result of pinched nerves in neck from bulges at C5-C6 and C6-C7 via neck MRI? Brain CTs/MRI's were all normal. Help!
Tingling: Neck cracking usually emanates from neck ligaments and vertebrae. Pinched nerves in the cervical spine generally cause Sharp, shooting pains in the back of the scalp. Tingling of forehead would be an unusual manifestation. I would be reassured about no significant neurological pathology in your case and would regard the tingling symptoms as more of a nuisance. A neurologist can advise you best. ...Read more
Neck cracking/popping, forehead/scalp tingling, the result of pinched nerves in neck from bulges at C5-C6 and C6-C7 via neck MRI? MRI's and CT's of brain were normal. Thanks.
Does not correlate.: The disk bulges at C5-C7 should affect your arm & neck, not the forehead & scalp. Many people live their ENTIRE LIVES with bulging disks & don't complain of any pain, so MRI or CT scan to "diagnose" bulging disks is actually a gross misuse of imaging. Tingling: Those sensations are suggestive of irritability or irritation of superficial nerves in those areas of the scalp. Can crawling, tingling and vibration sensation over scalp and general body be related to cancer? What type?
By coincidence-maybe: There is nothing specific the symptoms of crawling, tingling, or vibration over the scalp related to any type of cancer that I'm aware. There are numerous other things that share these symptoms and so any finding of cancer in a person complaining of these symptoms would be purely coincidental. I have a tingling/numbness in my scalp - just on the top of my head - for about 9 hours now. It's happened before several times. It's not painful.
Need some testing:
You may either have a painless variant of ALLODYNIA which is typically associated with migraine types of headaches as an aura or premonitory marker and believed to be the propagator if not the consolidator for the long lengths of some episodes of migraine. Or there could be metabolic or other structural items causing symptoms for which labs or testing need to be done.
