Reduction in penile length post-op comes partly from contraction in this area. Nerve sparing or resection results in decreased blood flow to the penis. Not necessarily: Narcotic pain medications can often cause/result in nausea if taken on an empty stomach. Best to use the minimal amount to control pain and also to take with some food. If nausea continues, talk to your doctor about alternative options. ...Read more

Should be able to it: That small a stone should be passable but it will still hurt terribly. There are other meds like Flomax (tamsulosin) which will help in passing the stone along with big time hydration. You need to catch the stone in a filter and see a urologist to figure out what type of stones you are forming and what to do to prevent another episode. ...Read more

Same class: The drugs are on the same class. Don't try to game the system. If you truly need chronic narcotic pain medication, see a pain specialist, usually an anesthesiologist specializing in the treatment of chronic pain. Best solution is to get to the root cause and fix it. If not possible, there are many alternatives to narcotics, which in the long term can make chronic pain worse in some patients.
