You may have blockag: blockage of your oil glands within the lids. When they get clogged they can become raised in appearance. Also the eyelids can get swore. Dry eyes: not sure what a cut tear duct would feel like, but sounds like your having sharp pain, and foreign body sensation which are hallmarks of dry eyes.
