Might be irritated?: Some foods act as irritants to the bladder, and make you feel like you have to go to the bathroom all the time. Examples include: coffee, tea, alcohol, tomatoes, salsa, spicy foods, chocolate, fruits/juices that are high in acid. Avoiding excessive amounts of these substances might help. Urge : A simple ultrasound test can determine whether you empty the bladder or not. At your age emptying is very important and these symptoms are worrisome. I have a constant feeling of needing to pee. It almost hurts, and when I do go i only go a little and the sense of urgency does not change. It is constant and very uncomfortable. It does not hurt when i go, but it feels like my bladder is still full.

Bladder spasms in a young person, without uti, other medical issues, or back injury would likely be associated with cystitis / inflammation of the lining of the bladder.
