Might be false labor: You didn't say how far along you are. But usually when the uterus feels hard and tight then relaxes then gets hard again it's a braxton hicks contraction which is a false labor pain. This is common and not a problem. However if there is pain low that lasts a minute and keeps coming back, and if you're also having spotting it might be labor. Call your doctor. ...Read more
