Why Is Endometriosis Pain Worse Morning
Is morning sickness a good sign? I have endometriosis and the last time I was pregnant the baby didn't make it into the sack.
It can be: But it generally no fun...Ultimately, I would confirm a positive pregnancy test. If you are already pregnant the endometriosis will unlikely be a detriment to the developing pregnancy. As one gets older, the risk of miscarriage goes up due to a higher likely of the pregnancy having an abnormal chromosomal makeup. I would confirm the pregnancy and contact your obgyn immediately for ultrasound. ...Read more

Talk to your doctor: Clomiphene alters hormonal balances in the body, especially of estrogen. This is how it works as an infertility drug. Endometriosis can be worsened by the presence of high levels of estrogens. Clomiphene use is relatively contraindicated in women with endometriosis. But again, you should talk to your doctor since only they know why you may still need to take the drug despite your condition. ...Read more
Removed nuvaring for break week after skipping for 3month. Endometriosis like symptoms returned within 24hrs. Normal or getting worse? What can I do?
Many women experience pain from endometriosis just prior to their period.
When you remove the Nuvring for your break week, your body begins to prepare to have a period. It doesn't mean your endometriosis is worse, just that it is changing with your hormones as it would each month if you were not skipping the break week.
You can take Ibuprofen and shorten the break week to 4 days. ...Read more
Endometriosis reoccurred after 2nd surgery, dr refused 3rd surgery said would cause it to spread and become worse, I have an endometrioma, is this true?
Fertility Specialist: At this point you would likely benefit from seeing a specialist. There are different options and different concerns. Surgery is still an option but you really need to know what your goals are. I would not do anything before seeing a specialist. And yes only surgery will remove an endometrioma but not all of them need to be removed. ...Read more
Yes: The endometrial glands that are not in the endometrial cavity ("endometriosis") bleed and shed the same time as the endometrial ones, except they're trapped where they are (in the ovary, in the abdomen, in the lung, etc) and causes pain by mass effect. Later, as that tissue gets trapped long term the body sips it up and it becomes scar tissue. ...Read more

Can stress and anxiety cause anypain or endometriosis pain to go worse? Like can it be psychological an am making it worse?
Sure: Emotional stress and anxiety can make any and all pains feel worse. That's one of the characteristics of pain... how one feels or perceives pain is influenced by one's state of mind, one's state of emotions. It can go the other way too... such as in a fight-or-flight response, where you don't feel the pain at all, as you're running from that raccoon chasing you. ...Read more

I was told I had endometriosis last year and it was cauterized however my pain is getting worse and my gp told me to put up and shut up what can I do?
Endometriosis: You need to see an obgyn that will help you manage your endometriosis. Medical therapy with hormone suppression with either birth control pills, depo- Provera (medroxyprogesterone) or even lipton injections is the key to keeping it under control. Cauterization via laparoscopy is just a temporary fix. ...Read more

I have had mirena (levonorgestrel) for 3 months and am having worse pain with endometriosis. I can barely feel the tip of the string. How do I know if pain is ok?
Pain is not ok: It would be wise to consult your Gyn, to have a pelvic sonogram, to reevaluate your diagnosis of "endometriosis", . and confirm that your Mirena (levonorgestrel) is in proper place in your uterus. Since the cause of pelvic pain and the alleviation of pelvic pain are often quite challenging, you may have to review/rediscuss your options for medical management and / or surgical treatments periodically. ...Read more
If I had a laparoscopy done and didn't have endometriosis, why am I hurting so much worse after I had it done? I'm scared that I messed my ovaries up
I'm having trouble with my menstrual cycles. I am having extreme cramps, worse than I've ever had. Do I need to worry about endometriosis?
Can endometriosis br diagnosis w/o surgery? Diangosis today with endo based off monthly r pelvic pain during mens that is getting worse.
No: #endometriosis is a curious disorder without proven cause, and commonly used treatments are speculative. Pelvic and operative interventions commonly cause pelvic and abdominal organ (intestine) adhesions resulting in tethered, twisted, and constricted intestine; a set-up for ibs-like symptoms. Women with joint hypermobility syndrome (see brighton criteria) have terrible menstrual pains. ...Read more

Can endometriosis be the cause of my nausea? It does vary with my period but I think it's getting worse. What can I do to ease it?
Are period cramps worse during teenage years? I used to get bad cramps as a teenager which slowed down in my 20s. Could it be endometriosis?
Endometriosis?: Because a young teen age woman is unfamiliar with the effects of larger doses of hormones produced in the menstrual cycle, the effects seem stronger than when regular cycles predominate in one's 20's and up. Endometriosis is treated well with low dose oral contraceptives, and fertility is preserved better than with untreated endometriosis, which can seriously affect fertility negatively. ...Read more

Ureter tract endometriosis. On lupron (leuprolide) shot now, but pain is worse, I lost all of my strength, I am very weak, should I get surgery instead?
2nd opinion may help: Like all medical suppressives, Lupron (leuprolide) is merely a stop-gap measure intended to relieve some of the symptoms for a short term.
