Why Is Endometriosis Pain Worse Morning
Does PMS make herniated disk pain worse? My disk pain is chronic, nerves damaged... But seems worse with PMS. Is that why it feels worse?
When you lie down: on your spine, the nerve compression would worsen in that dependent position likely due to increased pressure and inflammation where the compression occurs. Usually nerve root compression occurs in the lower back (lumbar) and lying supine or on the side of the compression will worsen the symptoms. Standing up and leaning forward usually relieve symptoms for that reason. ...Read more
Pelvic pain and pain when urinating doc says no uti. Also tired all the time nauseated pain in back also.Schuled for scope but pain is bad .What to do?
Interstitial Cystiti: A very common, but poorly understood, condition known as "interstitial cystitis" (ic)could be your answer. Frequently, women (women>men) are evaluated/referred for recurrent utis, but really have "ic." also known as the "painful bladder syndrome, " often associated with hematuria and urinary frequency. One does not have to have all 3 symptoms, however, to have ic. See your urologist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Strong Vaginal Pain during/after intercourse, strong lower abdominal pain even the next day; any movement makes it worse. What could be causing this?
See details: There are far too many possible causes to discuss that properly here. In addition, it would probably make you more concerned if you saw the list. My suggestion is that you make an appointment with a GYN that is comfortable with evaluating sexual pain. This type of problem requires a detailed history and physical. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Pelvic pain and pain when urinating doc says no uti. Also tired all the time nausated pain in back also.Schuled for scope but pain is bad .What to do?
Scope Reasonable: If you've had unexplained pelvic pain for 6 months or more, you are a candidate for a diagnostic laparoscopy. Assuming that your doctor has taken a thorough history and exam, and you've had a negative pelvic ultrasound, a diagnostic laparoscopy is reasonable for the next step. The doctor may also consider looking in your bladder ("cystoscopy") to evaluate for other causes of pain. ...Read more
I had dull pain in RLQ for 4 days, now I have a pain in LLQ that is worse than the RLQ pain but still bearable, does appendicitis pain switch sides?
It's possible...: I'm sorry you're suffering with this pain. The uncertainty certainly adds to the worry. To answer your question, appendicitis pain can move from right to left, but it's unusual and occurs when the appendix is positioned differently than others (usually since birth). As a 17 year old woman, ovarian, intestinal pains and pregnancy would also be things to think about. Best wishes! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I had a imblasion done nothing is better it's worse and still same smyptoms bloated lower back pain and erge to pee pelvic pain tired all the time?
Other causes: The endometrial ablation is used to treat heavy bleeding, it really is not expected to help the other symptoms you describe: bloating, low back pain, urge to void frequently, and it would only help with fatigue if your periods had made you anemic, and the ablation stopped the bleeding. Lots of other conditions may be contributing: fibroids, hormone imbalances, GI causes of bloating, and bladder. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have severe leg pain at night that wakes me sometimes... Not a cramp like achey pain. What causes this?
TMJ: This could be the TMJ (temperomandibular joint). As you lay down, and turn to your side.. You're likely putting pressure on the joint.. Taking Motrin before bed might help but Motrin can disrupt sleep. An eval by your dentist or your local ENT may help as well. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Unexplained pain in both ankles on feet 12 hours a day but this is worse than normal tired pain ankle hurts to touch pain getting worse every day?
Consultant : This unexplained pain must be seen by a foot and ankle specialist or pcp. First did any trauma occur or maybe chronic injury is worsening. You must get diagnostic testing such as an x-ray to rule out fracture or mri/us to rule out ankle sprain/strain. A thorough physical exam must be done as well. I would wear an ankle brace before seeing your local foot doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Is morning sickness a good sign? I have endometriosis and the last time i was pregnant the baby didn't make it into the sack.
It can be: But it generally no fun...Ultimately, i would confirm a positive pregnancy test. If you are already pregnant the endometriosis will unlikely be a detriment to the developing pregnancy. As one gets older, the risk of miscarriage goes up due to a higher likely of the pregnancy having an abnormal chromosomal makeup. I would confirm the pregnancy and contact your obgyn immediately for ultrasound. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
