Its three days since I missed my period and I took a test today came out negative. Should I take another one or is it something else?
Not yet: The pregnancy tests currently available over the counter are very reliable. If you have done one and it is negative - then you are not pregnant, or you have conceived less than 10 days ago and the test will eventually become positive. You could wait at least 3 or 4 days to allow time for the pregnancy hormone to reach a detectable level before repeating the test. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is it to soon for me to take a test I missed my period on April 6th and still don't have one...or should I wait three months like before?
Can do preg. Test: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed. ...Read more
