There are many "symptoms" that could erroneously be blamed on formula. No coconut milk!: Most diarrhe in children is caused by viral infection and most of them get better within days. Just make sure your child us hydrated . If the child has tears, has lots of saliva and urinating they are fine. Give oral rehydration solutions like pedialyte to replace lost fluids and electrolytes. Other factors matter: If his previous formula was cow milk based (similac.enfamil, store brand) the protein remains the same and would not be as likely a cause. If Breast fed or soy, cow milk might be the issue and soy milk or almond milk might help.
