Why Does Your Uterus Flutter
Uterus flutter?: If not related to pregnancy, this is commonly due to loops of bowel that are surrounding the uterus. The bowel has small muscles in the walls that contract to push stool through. It's common to get a twitch or tic similar to what you may have felt in other parts of your body from time to time. It's nothing to worry about. ...Read more

Hard to Say: Don't get that ? Much. Most likely not related to the uterus but bowel related. The hormonal changes a week before the cycle starts are characterized by high Progesterone levels that dramatically change bowel contraction patterns and many bowel changes are reported by patients. This description could be yet another example of this phenomenon. The uterus itself is very quiet in high progesterone. ...Read more

For the last week I have felt almost constant vibrations/fluttering in my lower abdomen & rectum. Could it be caused by a enlarged uterus? Or? Thanks
What causes a ticklish/fluttering feeling in your uterus if you're not pregnant and have no stds?
Interesting question: Since the internal organs have no localizing nerves (like the skin surface) it is hard to accept the idea you could feel something inside it. You could have vague pressure sensations that localize to the region. These are most often due to digestive action/bowel gas movement. ...Read more

I'm 7 days past ovulation and I have been constipated for 3 days and very bloated, pains near my hips and fluttering in my uterus?
Treat constipation: The fluttering is not pregnancy, it's too early. Consider treating constipation with MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) 2x per day. 42. NOT pregnant. Recently diagnosed with fibrosis. Having a weird fluttering/pulsing in my uterus, day 2 of period this month. Normal? Should I be co
Probably okay: Do you mean you were recently diagnosed with fibroids? As they grow, fibroids need a blood supply so maybe you are feeling that. It's probably nothing to be concerned about. Once you reach menopause (average age 51) then your fibroids should shrink. If your fibroids start to cause problems (irregular bleeding, anemia, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse) then they might need to be treated prior ...Read more
Have been having a fluttering sensation in uterine area that can vary from 1xdaily to all day. Last period was 7days early. What can this mean?
Uterine contractions: "Fluttering" in the lower abdomen may not be from the uterus, but could represent small bowel contractions. A " period seven days early" , if normal in other respects may just represent early ovulation, and a period regularly follows by 14 days. If pregnancy is a concern, get a serum HCG test to make certain. See your gyn for an exam if symptoms persist. ...Read more
5 wks after novasure, I've lost half my orgasm. Only weak flutter clitoral, but no deep uterine contractions radiating thru body. Will it come back?
Don't know: It sounds like that their may have been some interruption of the nerve pathways post Novasure. Nerves have been known to regenerate or find alternate pathways so I would not give up hope yet that the "full orgasm" experience may not return. Make sure that you are not peri menopausal as declining hormones also can cause your problem. ...Read more
