Can fibroid and ovarian cyst cause nausea?

Perhaps: Rarely some ovarian cysts do produce hormones that can cause nausea. It is unusual. Please consult a gynecologist to rule out other problems.

Cyst (Definition)

Do ovarian cyst cause nausea or could I be pregnant?

Do ovarian cyst cause nausea or could I be pregnant?

No: Cysts may cause pain but not nausea as a common feature. Pregnancy is another matter. Get tested if the circumstances are there. Unprotected sex?

Can a 2cm ovarian cyst on rt side cause sharp intermitten pain along with nausea and vomiting off and on? Appendix showed normal.

Can a 2cm ovarian cyst on rt side cause sharp intermitten pain along with nausea and vomiting off and on? Appendix showed normal.

Not Likely: Each month, ovulation causes the development of a dominant follicle that may measure 2-3 cm in size. This is a normal activity for the ovary. Larger cysts or a ruptured cyst could cause the symptoms you mention. Pelvic infection also could. You should see your doctor for evaluation if you have had the symptoms for a while.

Can the morning after pill cause an ovarian cyst and cause it to burst? Took it 5 days ago, and after sex I got a really sharp ovarian pain and nausea

Have an exam: The pill would not cause a cyst or burst one, but your pain needs attention. While there, get good info on this entire issue. Don't use that pill as birth control. Do use protection for STDs as well as pregnancy. Do learn how to take good care of yourself - it will pay off for decades to come. Best wishes!

Does a small ovarian cyst cause pain even if it hasn't ruptured. Experiencing pelvic discomfort, nausea, frequent urination, even rib discomfort.

Does a small ovarian cyst cause pain even if it hasn't ruptured. Experiencing pelvic discomfort, nausea, frequent urination, even rib discomfort.

UTI: Have your urine tested. This could also be a urinary tract infection. Small cysts don't usually cause that much pain. Women produce cysts every month to release the egg.

Can a small ovarian cyst that hasn't ruptured cause discomfort, nausea, pelvic, and lower back discomfort, pain in upper legs, can't eat, freq. Urination?

Yes: Sadly, an ovarian cyst can cause discomfort, nausea and pelvic pain. Pain in the upper legs and frequent urination with a small cyst is likely something else. You may have a bladder infection on top of having a cyst? If you've lost your appetite as well I would see a doctor for an evaluation as you wouldn't want to miss something. Best of luck!

Irritation: The fluid from the ovarian cyst, upon rupture, can irritate the lining and can cause your symptoms mentioned above. You may need an ultrasound to follow up on the size of the cyst and to determine further interventions.

I have a 9cm ovarian cyst. Can it cause fatigue, bladder pain, stomach pain, nausea & dizziness?

I have a 9cm ovarian cyst. Can it cause fatigue, bladder pain, stomach pain, nausea & dizziness?

YES: All of the above symptoms can be caused by a large ovarian cyst. This should be followed and reported to your physician. Twisting of the ovary on its blood supply can cause these symptoms and if not addressed can cause serious problem and possibe loss of the ovary

See a Gyn?: Can you not get her to a Gyn for an office visit? She needs further attention and an ER is great for acute emergencies but not long-term (or complicated) problem solving. As a last resort, ER again is better than ignoring it.
