Maybe urinalysis: Not sure what "oily" urine means. Do you see blood, have burning or irritation, or have color change in your urine? Having your urine examined by urinalysis might be helpful. Your habits that you describe don't appear to be an issue, though. Hope that helps.

What does it mean if your urine looks oily?

What does it mean if your urine looks oily?

Oily Urine: It is normal to have a certain amount of what appears to be an oily residue in your urine. If the amount appears to be substantial, or if your urine is also milky in color, you should be seen by your doctor for tests - it may indicate an infection or something more serious. Technically the oily substance is called chyle and can come from lymph nodes and suggest a bigger problem. Have it evaluated.

I am having oily bubbles in my urine, what can cause this?

I am having oily bubbles in my urine, what can cause this?

See below: Passing air/bubbles during urination (pneumaturia) usually indicative of a fistula (opening) between the bowel and bladder most commonly caused by diverticulitis or colon cancer. Less often by a UTI. Otherwise, IF you're noticing bubbles only IN the toilet water, can be caused by excess protein in the urine but more often is insignificant and related to force of urine flow or type of bowl cleaner.

Here are some...: Clinically, you seem free of symptoms despite seeing oily urine. Now it's time to confirm what you saw with urine test. If urinalysis is normal and you're asymptomatic, clinically, you're all right with no need to worry about it. So, work closely with Dr. To clarify your concern and eliminate future unnecessary anxiety. Best wish...

I have noticed black, oily droplets in my urine. What could be the cause? Should I go see a doctor? I

Yes see a doctor: The oily droplets could be sludge from kidney stones, or old blood from your bladder. I suggest having a urinalysis to see what this is.

I drink a lot of water about a gallon a day but my urine k dark yellow and almost looks oily. What could it be?

Dark urine: Some of the reasons that can cause the urine to be darker are increased bilirubin in your body, or the presence of blood (hemoglobinuria, myoglobinuria). and this can happen due to liver, kidney or muscle disease. Usually this is not normal if it has been happening for sometime, you should visit your physician for proper analysis

Thyroid disease: With your symptoms would wonder about thyroid disease. With the oil in the urine, gallbladder disease comes to mind. Recommend you see your doctor for an evaluation and some testing. Best of luck.

Oily urine and high thyroid and puffed thyroid gland (I can see they shape and more when drinking). I suffer with my speech, memory and bone pain?

Oily urine and high thyroid and puffed thyroid gland (I can see they shape and more when drinking). I suffer with my speech, memory and bone pain?

Oily urine???: Hi. Holy cow. I see lots of hyperthyroidism and goiters, but I've never seen any of that cause oily urine, which implies a urine high enough in hydrophobic stuff (such as "oils") to float on the urine. Something's funny here. And we haven't even gotten to the speech, memory, and bone pain yet. Speech and memory very non-specific. Bone pain is caused by fracture, Paget's, osteomalacia, etc.

Why does my urine look rusty?

Why does my urine look rusty?

Possibly hematuria: Altered blood, or blood from kidney will acquire a rusty color by time it reaches the bladder ; thus make urine look rusty. You need to get a urinalysis to rule out blood in your urine because of risk of kidney tumor. Kidney cancers found early are nearly all curable so please get your urine tested asap.
