Don't know: I don't know, but i wouldn't worry about it. "sweet smelling stool" is not a sign of anything bad that we learn about in medical school. It could be worse...It could smell like stool! ...Read more

Sweet stool: In general, a sweet odor to the stool is not worrisome. It could possibly be due to syrupy medications (which you say you are not taking) or due to not digesting sugars in the diet properly, which is unlikely if you are not symptomatic.
