I know i'm young and everything.. But when i drink allot, usually 50-70% alcohols, my joints are very painful. Usually my knees, why?

Young Joints: I would bet that given you are still in the middle of growing that your joints are very sensitive. You may be out growing your body's ability to keep up with the bones getting longer and all the tissues the joints need for health. Drinking is very dehydrating and a depressant. Drinking regular or heavily is not good health for a number of reasons but especially when you are growing. ...Read more

Sometimes I have nausea when drinking beer, especially after a good meal. This is not always the case and not for other alcohols. Why does it happen?

Sometimes I have nausea when drinking beer, especially after a good meal. This is not always the case and not for other alcohols. Why does it happen?

Reflux: The stomach has to empty to accept the larger volume of an alcoholic beverage of a lower proof of beer. My question would be whether you are drinking it because you had problems with alcohol previously, in which case my answer would be no. This is because it is very likely to serve as a trigger to drinking alcohol again. If you have not had a problem, it is not likely to cause any harm pre-op. ...Read more

I just drink wine, i'm not an alcoholic right?

I just drink wine, i'm not an alcoholic right?

If you drink regularly because you feel you need to, can't control your drinking, get withdrawal if you don't drink, get upset if people question you about it, or it affects your professional or personal life, then beware. ...Read more
