Why Does My Right Side Hurt When I Drink Alchol
My tongue and gums hurt slightly and are sensitive to stimulation all of a sudden. What could this mean? Had a single alcoholic drink yesterday (gin).
I know i'm young and everything.. But when i drink allot, usually 50-70% alcohols, my joints are very painful. Usually my knees, why?
Young Joints: I would bet that given you are still in the middle of growing that your joints are very sensitive. You may be out growing your body's ability to keep up with the bones getting longer and all the tissues the joints need for health. Drinking is very dehydrating and a depressant. Drinking regular or heavily is not good health for a number of reasons but especially when you are growing. ...Read more
Sometimes I have nausea when drinking beer, especially after a good meal. This is not always the case and not for other alcohols. Why does it happen?
Reflux: The stomach has to empty to accept the larger volume of an alcoholic beverage of a lower proof of beer. My husband had his right kidney removed over 2 months ago, can he have an occasional alcoholic drink every now and then?
His choice: If your husband drinks alcohol, it is best to do it in moderation. As acute and chronic alcohol consumption can interfere with kidney function indirectly as a consequence of liver disease. This means that drinking should not get him intoxicated, or drunk, and that he has no more than 2 drinks per day. A drink should be defined as 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, or 1½ ounces of liquor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
For two days I've had two numb spots in my right leg, I'm not sure what's wrong, I was drinking a large amount of alcoholic beverages, could that be w?
Numbness: If the numbness persists, you should see a doctor. Not sure if it's related to heavy alcohol consumption. What sometimes can happen is that if you "pass out" and lie on one part of your body for extended periods without moving, that can cause a form of trauma to the nerve which could be causing the numbness. If you drink like that frequently, check your B12 level. Low B12 can cause nerve problems. ...Read more
