Will likely improve: How long ago did it start? Any trauma? Most lower back/buttocks and sacral pain can be improved with anti inflammatory medications and directed physical therapy. I would recommend taking Motrin or naprosyn (naproxen) if you don't have heart burn or stomach issues.
