Sounds as if: your baby is also becoming ill. Infants under the age of two months with a rectal temperature of 100.4 or higher should be emergently evaluated and not given Tylenol (acetaminophen). Older infants and children can be offered supportive and comfort care with pain/fever reducers until they have been evaluated by their pediatrician. ...Read more

He may just need treatment with antibiotic drops, but some conjunctivitis (pink eye) is associated with ear infections, even without other symptoms. Check with peds: Probably she has blocked tear duct. Using clear water on a clean, soft cloth, gently wipe any discharge out of your baby's eyes. Do this several times a day or as often as necessary. The tear ducts lie just beneath the nasal corner of the eyes. Gently massage this area moving your fingertip in a semi-circle from the corner of the eye inward toward the nose.
