Not advisable: There is much folklore surrounding the use of urine as a cure-all, but little evidence of any benefit. Urine should be sterile and not cause disease, but there are much better treatments for both oral thrush and acne. Baby acne does not need treatment and will go away on its own. Benzoyl peroxide is far more effective for treatment of adult acne. ...Read more

Diaper rash: Vitamin E is pretty benign for infants. If you are using it tpically in a butt paste if should be pretty safe to use topically several times a day for even a week or more. It is a great treatment for rashes and scars. ...Read more

Call Dr. now: Signs of dehydration include fewer wet diapers, tears and saliva that is thicker than usual. Infants may become dehydrated in just a few hours.
